JUNIOR CRICKET

The junior club was officially formed in 1992 and the Club has continued to support and cater for the younger cricketers in the area who will one day play at a higher level. We cater for a range of age groups and levels for junior cricketers between the ages of 5 and 17. Most recently we were delighted to have our first Swan Valley Girls Team fielded in the 2020/21 season. The junior club has had some great success over the years and fostered the talents of some great young cricketers, many of whom have gone on to represent the senior club to a high level and beyond.
Along the way (circa 2008) the SVJCC and Swan Valley Sporting Club took a great leap forward and constructed a new junior cricket oval and wicket. The Swan Valley Cricket Club has worked hard to update and improve training facilities including the training nets which will aid all junior and senior teams to meet their potential.

We take the safety and welfare of our young people very seriously and have adopted both the Good Sports Program (Level 3) and have adopted Cricket Australia's Policies For Safe-Guarding Children & Young People.
